OUR VISION:
This academic conference is organized by Sheba Center for Strategic Studies. We will hold a series of panels over two days with presentations by scholars and professionals. We extend a cordial invitation to all academics and professionals from the international community to submit abstracts for presentation at the conference, as well as encourage pre-organized panels to be added to our program. Arabic is working language for this conference, for abstracts and presentations.
Conference objectives
We aim to bring together major specialists and young academics from around the world and Yemen in an environment of cooperation and dialogue. We hope to create a space for interaction between national and international experts in order to address many of the developments in Yemen throughout the past twenty years, as well as discuss the future challenges beyond the near horizon.
Our conference will present independent views on a variety of topics as well as include presentations by major players within the Yemeni government, the private sector and civil society. Such interaction across sectors will also provide great contributions to our joint publication of the conference proceedings.
